. This genus can be diagnosed after the above key to genera and subgenera and it is distinct from other genera from

||
and surrounding territories in the set of the following characters: head subflattened, eyes of moderate size and located at midlength, antennal grooves distinct, slightly convergent and slightly S-curved; pronotum convex at posterior edge, widely rounded anterior and posterior angles; prosternum with anterior edge projecting anteriorly forming a wide and short chin piece; prosternal process forming a unified median plate widening as anteriorly as posteriorly, strongly widened at truncate apex; abdominal laterosternites V and VI widened posteriorly; narrowly separated metacoxae and posterior edge of metaventrite angularly excised; tarsomeres 1–3 distinctly widely lobed; male anal sclerite with deep funnel-shaped invagination in the middle of posterior side, but without serrations along its posterior edge.
