Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, and rod shaped. Colonies are circular, smooth, and yellow colored after 3 days of incubation at 25℃ on R2A agar. Positive for esculin hydrolysis and

-galactosidase activity. Negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, and arginine dihydrolase, urease, and gelatinase activities. D- Glucose and D- maltose are utilized. Does not utilize
