Shell height to

; fusiform, solid. Protoconch large, smooth, of 2.25 markedly convex whorls. Teleoconch of up to 3.75 whorls, slightly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 60% of total shell height. Suture impressed. Surface white; sculptured with 12 to 14 strong axial ribs and 3 or 4 wide spiral cords per whorl, which produce large beads at their intersections. Axial sculpture vanishing at the base, which is delimited by a smooth cord, and sculptured with 7 to 9 additional cords. Aperture ovate, interior white; columellar callus thick; siphonal canal short, slightly oblique, wide. Operculum ovate, with subterminal nucleus; pale brown, translucent.
