slightly longer than wide, moderately punctured; distance between punctures equal to or distinctly greater than diameter of puncture, strongly constricted at base; gena shorter than one­half longitudinal diameter of eye; longitudinal diameter of eye distinctly shorter than length of rostrum; frons with weak mid­dorsal channel, slightly wider than base of rostrum.

Female: Same as male except head about as wide as long; rostrum distinctly longer than head, strongly arcuate, width at apex subequal to width of frons; antennae inserted just before basal 1/3; frons subequal in width to rostral base.
