Le céphalon, relativement de petite taille, n’est que modérément enchâssé dans le péréionite 1; les yeux sont réduits, leur largeur n’étant égale qu’à environ 0,15 fois celle du céphalon.</paragraph>

Les antennes, nettement plus longues puisqu’elles atteignent le bord postéro-latéral du péréionite 1, sont constituées de 18 articles dont seuls les articles 3 à 6 possèdent une ornementation de soies plumeuses ou épineuses. Le palpe mandibulaire est tri-articulé et sans ornementation visible. Les maxillules montrent les quatre crochets distaux habituels et les maxilles, trois crochets dont deux au niveau du lobe médian et un à l’extrémité distale du lobe latéral. Le troisième article des maxillipèdes porte deux crochets terminaux chez la femelle non ovigère ou ovigère.</paragraph>
