. Male: Head cream, thorax darker, labial palpus with brownish lateroterminal part. Forewing shape typical of genus, termen not oblique, slightly concave. Ground colour and costal strigulae yellowish cream; divisions brown; ocellus marked dark brown especially towards costa. Dorsobasal blotch and median fascia pale brown. Forewing maculation variable, with some pale specimens, and one with brown markings. Cilia brownish cream. Hindwing whitish, brownish in distal part; cilia whitish. Genitalia (
