Photographs were taken using a Canon 550D digital camera and Nikon AZ100 Multizoom microscope. Eggs from female nymphs and female adults, and other materials for SEM study were dehydrated in a graded ethanol series, dried by the critical point method, sputter coated with gold and observed with an LEO 1450VP scanning electron microscope.
