Length 6 lines.-Head, antennae, thorax, legs, and scale of the petiole, ferruginous; abdomen ovate, black, covered with a fine silky pile, the fourth and following segments ferruginous. Head elongate-ovate, coarsely rugose; the mandibles smooth and shining, with a few scattered punctures, the head not prolonged into a neck. Thorax rugose, the metathorax with two stout curved spines; the wings flavo-hyaline, the nervures pale rufo-testaceous.</paragraph>
