); with gray shading on terga III and VIVIII; ratio pedicel/scape, 2.0; with posteromedian projection on metanotum and vestiges of posterolateral projections on abdominal segments IVVI; male subgenital plate subtriangullar and broadly truncated apically, hind margin very slightly concave; ratios forceps length/subbasal width 11.2.

The single male imago may represent a different, unknown species of

. However, it is not formally proposed here because of the bad condition of the material. This male imago is temporarily placed in

). Nevertheless, as the adult stage of

is yet not known, it is also possible that this individual belongs to
<taxonomicName id="21B04D2CFFCEFF8AFA27E4606B1DF974" class="Insecta" family="Caenidae" genus="Latineosus" kingdom="Animalia" order="Ephemeroptera" pageId="5" pageNumber="144" phylum="Arthropoda" rank="species" species="colombianus">
<emphasis id="D4C4EABDFFCEFF8AFA27E4606B1DF974" italics="true" pageId="5" pageNumber="144">L. colombianus</emphasis>
</taxonomicName>
, the only brachycercine previously known from
<collectingCountry id="9EA7763FFFCEFF8AFCEFE44D6984F975" box="[845,959,1658,1683]" name="Colombia" pageId="5" pageNumber="144">Colombia</collectingCountry>
. The main difference with other species is the much slender forceps (ratio L/
<geoCoordinate id="83845068FFCEFF8AFDB3E4A8685DF951" box="[529,614,1695,1719]" direction="west" orientation="longitude" pageId="5" pageNumber="144" precision="5555" value="-11.2">W 11.2</geoCoordinate>
). This male was collected at the same light trap with a much smaller male here attributed to
