The present specimen is low-spired with the spire only somewhat protruding, consisting of three smooth rapidly increasing whorls. The body-whorl is very inflated, the height of the last whorl is about 90% of the total shell height. The aperture is broad with a thick inductura and seems to develop a columellar fold which has never been observed in
