Rolle did not state on how many specimens his description was based upon. However, the shell height is close to the original measurements and together with the indication

handwriting, there is no doubt about the status of the specimen. The locality is ambiguous, as there are several places called

in Peru. There were, however, several other species described from the same locality, amoung them
