Maxillary palpi ¾ length width of labrum; segments 2 and 3 subequal with apical segment 1.5x longer. Labial palpi ¾ length of mentum; apical two segments subequal in length. Labrum usually with 23 faint systematic punctures centrally, sometimes bearing short setae. Clypeus with several distinct systematic punctures on anterior margin, larger than surrounding punctation. Frons with irregular row of systematic punctures mesad of each eye. Mentum quadrate, anterior margin slightly convex; with several irregular punctures anteriorly.

Sutural punctuation of elytra forming a moderately dense row, bearing short erect to recumbent setae; rows 1 and 2 distinct, punctures at least

Lateral margin of elytra with sparse row of setiferous punctures. Prosternum carinate medially, with spines anteromedially which are longer than narrowest point of the prosternum. Mesosternal process slightly longer than wide; with five spines. Metasternum with elongate­oval glabrous area posteromedially, about as long as wide; about half the total width of metasternum. Procoxae densely pubescent, with numerous long spines, which are longer than mesosternal spines. Protibia with 911 spines of dorsal face. Protarsal segments 14 small, subequal in length; segment 5 as long as segments 14.
