Erect or decumbent subshrub with woody xylopodium, stems somewhat woody, pubescent to pilose, eventually glabrescent. Leaves subsessile,

because of their short, erect, slightly granular stems and subsessile flowers, but differ in the 3-lobed leaves and pubescent corolla. They are included here with doubt. Unfortunately, we have seen no modern collections, which could help elucidate the status of this variety.
