The olive dorsum bears numerous bright red areas that surround wart-like structures, while the venter is brightly patterned with large areas of red and black. Formal colour description follows: in life, dorsum finely vermiculated Fuscous (Color #21), most tubercles pale-tipped and surrounded by irregular concentric rings of Spectrum Red (Color #11) and Flesh Ocher (Color #132D) areas.
