Length 4 lines.-Black and shining: the antennae, mandibles, and face anteriorly ferruginous and punctate-striate, the vertex coarsely punctured; the face with a central channel which terminates at the anterior ocellus. Thorax oblong, rounded anteriorly and truncate posteriorly, the truncation transversely rugose; above coarsely punctured, the sides obliquely striated; the legs and sides more or less ferruginous; wings subhyaline, the nervures fuscous. Abdomen oblong, with scattered punctures; the apex acute and rufo-testaceous.</paragraph>
