CIL of both valves broad anteriorly and posteriorly, extending inwardly by approximately 1/4 of valve length, and with a blunt anteroventral peg (remnants of reduced inner list) in LV. A1 third segment with dorsal seta shorter than ventral seta, and RO 0.3 times length of second segment of A1. A2 with longest natatory setae 0.7 times length of second endopodal segment. Males with L5 Rpp and Lpp almost symmetrical, Hp with ls broad and rectangular, with almost straight distal margin, proximally with lateral rounded protrusion; ms with rounded edge, reaching almost as far as ls.
