Eyes present. Pereonites 13 not reduced. Female antennule with three articles. Male mouthparts reduced. Female mandibular incisors facing inward; right incisor with subdistal crenulation. Female mandibular molars broad, with heavily chitinised grinding surface. Cheliped attachment via triangular sclerite. Female chelipedal dactylus without dorsal crenation/nodules. Pereopods 46 lacking coxae and clinging apparatus. Uropodal endopod with two articles.
