Head, pronotum and elytra black; Antennomeres brownish black; maxillary and labial palpomeres yellowish red.

: Small, Shiny, slightly convex in the middle, narrower than pronotum, strongly bulging eyes, long and deep frontal furrows reaching about the level of posterior margin of eye. Labrum small, angles weakly rounded, smooth, anterior margin strongly emarginated, four long setae present on anterior margin, both ends of anterior margin with bunch of mini brush like setae. Clypeus smooth, with single long setae on either sides, straight margin. Apical labial and maxillary palpomeres moderately expanded apically. Mandibles fairly short, tip not crossing each other. Vertex roughly punctured. Genae and gula shiny. Antennae elongate.

: Wider than head, transverse. Dorsal and ventral side roughly punctured and covered by greyish yellow coloured setae, straight anterior and posterior margins, narrowly rounded to the anterior corners, broadest at centre, expands behind the middle, posterior corners obtuse. The lateral marginal edge of the pronotum extremely thin, anterior corner strongly bent. Lateral margin expanded in the middle and sinuate behind the middle. Prosternal process with wide rounded base without margin;

Elytral suture line has a narrow gap at the apex and not closed, projected humerus weakly sloping, slightly rounded on the sides, widest behind the middle.
