<paragraph pageId="27" pageNumber="28">Length of body: 7.6 mm; length of elytra: 5.9 mm; maximum width: 5 mm. Surface of labroclypeus and disc of frons glabrous. Smooth area anterior to eye twice as wide as long. Eyes moderately large, ratio of diameter/interocular width: 0.77. Ratio of length of metepisternum/metacoxa: 1/1.52. Metatibia moderately long and wide, ratio width/length: 1/3.38; basal group of dorsal spines of metatibia at first third of metatibial length.</paragraph>

<paragraph pageId="27" pageNumber="28">The species name (adjective in the nominative singular) is derived from the combined Greek word pluris (higher) and Latin word uncinatus (hooked), with reference to the pluri-hooked shape of the right paramere.</paragraph>
