species): Puparium pale, elongate, dorsal surface convex; dorsum punctured without tubercles; submargin not separated from dorsal disc, submargin with a series of conical-shaped papillae, evident at least on anterior and posterior end of puparium; caudal and thoracic tracheal opening areas marked by distinct pore, sometimes with a median tooth; longitudinal moulting suture reaching margin and transverse moulting suture reaching submargin; submedian and subdorsal setae absent. Cephalic, first, eighth abdominal and caudal setae present; eye spots absent; abdominal segment VII not reduced medially. Abdominal segment VIII of

), longer than wide, posterior edge slightly elevated; operculum covering more than a half the length of orifice; lingula knobbed, exposed, not reaching beyond the posterior end of the orifice. Thoracic tracheal furrows absent but caudal furrow present, smooth. Ventrally, submargin demarcated by a ventral fold, caudal and thoracic tracheal folds marked by granular stipples.

Moreover, they share the following characters, and require further study: vasiform orifice subcordate; submargin without a row of papillae or obsolete papillae; subdorsum with a series of setae; tracheal pore area deeply invaginated; median area of abdominal segment VII reduced; caudal furrow indicated with tubercles.</paragraph>
