Pitchy black, shining, head and pronotum pitchy brown, elytra dark brown with lighter hind margin, apex of abdomen somewhat reddish, antennae, palpi and legs clear yellow.
<emphasis id="B91CA50753693040BCFD37090D0FFCBD" box="[430,512,839,874]" italics="true" pageId="2" pageNumber="43">Head</emphasis>
scarcely wider than the prothorax, coarsely and moderately densely punctured. Eyes very large, extending entirely over sides of head, without temples, posterior edge of head sharply angled.

moderately long, penultimate segments longer than wide, apical segments wider and longer than penultimate.
<emphasis id="B91CA50753693040B9CD37F70A31FC0B" box="[1182,1342,953,988]" italics="true" pageId="2" pageNumber="43">Prothorax-</emphasis>
considerably narrower than elytra, almost as long as wide, little rounded on sides, posteriorly strongly constricted, deeply and moderately punctured, on posterior half a strong raised median ridge.

about a half longer than total width, posteriorly slightly widened, deeply and densely punctured, clothed with coarse yellow hair.
