). Head: Light ochreous, rough scaled. Antenna light ochreous. Labial palpus ca. 1.5 times diameter of eye, light ochreous, lightly sprinkled with brown, brown spot at end of second segment. Thorax: Light ochreous, brown in middle. Fore- and mid-leg grey, with light rings, hind-leg cream, tarsi ringed with light grey. Wingspan 11.5 mm. Forewing upperside light ochreous, dotted with dark brown; costal strigulae marked by dark brown oblique streaks, brown and grey suffusion form a dorso-basal blotch and a smaller rounded tornal blotch. Hindwing light greyish brown, veins with dark suffusion. Abdomen: Light ochreous. Genitalia (

This species is named in memory of Michael Fibiger (1945-2011), a close friend who participated in the field work in Uganda, and who contributed tremendously to lepidopteran taxonomy.
