Autozooecia prismatic, autozooecial apertures rounded-polygonal. Diaphragms generally lacking in endozones; thin, planar, closely to widely spaced or lacking in exozones. Autozooecial walls thin, laminated, irregularly undulating in endozones; thickly laminated, without cingulum, broadly and irregularly serrated in exozones. Tubules in exozonal walls abundant, thick, hyaline, generally oriented parallel to autozooecial growth. Mesozooecia rare to common, originating in endozone, containing thick diaphragms. Styles absent. Maculae low to flush, consisting of macrozooecia surround cluster of mesozooecia and massive extrazooidal skeleton near centres.</paragraph>
