. Pale red-brown, with head and anterior part of pronotum darkened. Lateral angles of head narrowly rounded, rectangular, a line drawn between the angles level with the posterior margin of eyes. Dorsal surface without microsculpture. Apical part of elytra with large punctures. Pubescence of elytra relatively long and sparse, individual setae only a little longer than distance between seta-bearing punctures. Aedeagus as in
