Colouration. Straw-coloured. A dot on either half of vertex and, sometimes, tips of genal processes orange or brown. Eyes greyish or brownish; ocelli orange. Antennal segments 15 yellow, tip of segments 4 and 5 dark brown to black, segments 68 mostly dark brown to black, light basally, segments 9 and 10 almost black. Tip of rostrum black. Mesopraescutum with two submedian patches, mesoscutum with four longitudinal stripes, metapostnotum and abdomen dorsally orange to light brown. Apical spurs on metatibia and basimetatarsus black. Base of exposed part of lateral valvulae with dark brown patch.

Structure. Vertex with big and flattened anteorbital tubercles. Genal processes 0.81.0 times as long as vertex along midline, adpressed medially. Antenna 4.35.2 times as long as head width. Forewing 2.52.7 times as long as head width, 2.12.2 times as long as broad; pterostigma moderately short, narrow at base; cell cu

. Male proctiger 0.4 times as head width, lacking posterior lobes basally but produced and distinctly angular. Paramere lamellar, narrowed in basal third, widening to apical third and slightly tapering to apex which is blunt, in profile; with one very small, forward directed sclerotised tooth near apex in the middle; inner surface sparsely covered in long setae, denser and thicker near apex. Distal segment of aedeagus slender, S-shaped; sclerotised end tube of ductus ejaculatorius short but thick, hook-shaped, originating near base of segment. Female proctiger 0.91.0 times as long as head width, dorsal outline almost straight, apex slightly upturned, pointed; circumanal ring 0.3 times as long as proctiger. Female subgenital plate 0.50.6 times as long as proctiger, apex subacute; dorsal outline relatively straight.
