Specimens with the above subgeneric characters, as well as abdominal ventrite 5 one-half to two-thirds as long as broad, alternate elytral intervals raised and costate, even intervals completely or nearly non-setose, and the setae of alternate intervals blunt-ended and slightly broadened and flattened, belong to this species.
