<paragraph id="8BAA36BBFFA8003511ABD336CF2E73B3" blockId="1.[151,1437,713,2034]" pageId="1" pageNumber="552">Head declined from base to apex, occiput without triangular impression; frons slightly elevated above base of antennae, apically edged; cranium with dense and umbilicate punctures, interstices of punctures reduced to small and arched wrinkles; pubescence extremely short, almost invisible and declined to apex; eyes spherical; last segment of maxilla dolabriform; mandible bi-spicate, falciform apically; antennae serrate from third antennomere on, exceeding pronotal apices by the length of the last two and a half antennomeres; second antennomere subglobular, 1.5 times longer than wide apically; third antennomere subtrapezoidal, 2.2 times longer than wide apically and slightly longer than fourth and following antennomeres; antennomeres 4–10 subtrapezoidal, apically strongly serrate and of decreasing apical width, all of them more than 1.8 times longer than wide apically (fig. 5); last antennomere oblong-elliptic, subapically very slightly constricted; pubescence short and bristly, especially long at apical edges.</paragraph>

), slightly arched medially and declined to base; pronotum with shallow oval median groove from base to apex, lateral edges slightly arched; posterior angles divergent with a distinct apically cuspidate carina (fig. 3), apex obtuse (arrow, fig 3); pronotal lateral edges completely visible in dorsal view; pronotal punctures medially and laterally umbilicate with interstices equal to one or half puncture diameter (fig. 2), pronotal surface micro-reticulated; pubescence bent from median line to apex and to lateral sides.

<paragraph id="8BAA36BBFFAB003611ABD1DACDAC715B" blockId="2.[151,1436,1685,2034]" pageId="2" pageNumber="553">Elytra subparallel, becoming very slightly narrower subapically, elytral apex arcuately bent (fig. 6), apically with a short thorn on each elytron (arrow, fig 6); base very slightly shorter than pronotal posterior angles, slightly depressed at scutellum, margins arched, shoulders prominent (winged species); elytral striae with distinct deep punctures, their interstices with smaller and fine punctures, conspicuously micro-reticulated and transversely rugose (fig. 4); pubescence short, bristly, declined to apex and to lateral sides.</paragraph>
