). Body surface covered with thin blue-white wax powders. Head, thorax and forewing black in dorsal view. Ocelli, inner margin of eyes, antennae, posterior margin of pronotum and apical angle of scutellum yellowish-brown. Forewing with three longitudinal red stripes, one extending almost from base to apex of clavus, two in corium converging at base, one of which near and parallel to claval suture, extending slightly beyond claval suture, the other parallel to anterior half of forewing costal margin. Face yellowish-white, frontoclypeus with broad longitudinal black band on each side, anteclypeus with triangular black spot on basal portion. Thoracic sternum black with yellowish-brown stripes; legs yellowish-white; tibiae, tarsi and pretarsi of prothoracic legs black; meso- and metapretarsi blackish-brown. Abdomen black in ventral view; sternites with posterior margins pale; base of subgenital plate and posteroventral portion of pygofer with pale macula.

Head moderately produced, anterior margin broadly round; median length of crown slightly less than 2/3 of interocular width; crown concave between ocelli, with fovea between ocelli and eye; ocelli located slightly behind imaginary line between anterior eye angles; lateral frontal sutures extending onto crown and attaining ocelli; frontoclypeus slightly convex medially, muscle impressions distinct; transclypeal suture complete. Pronotum width equal to or slightly less than transocular width of head; anterior margin rounded; posterior margin shallowly concave medially; scutellum slightly convex behind transverse depression; forewing with apical membrane indistinct, base of second apical cell almost aligned with base of third; hindleg with femoral setal formula 2:1:1.</paragraph>
