Body slim, small to medium sized. Ground color tan to orange brown. Head narrower than pronotum. Eyes gray to blackish. Crown with pair of dark spots triangular, quadrangular or nearly circular. Coronal suture distinct but not extended to vertex. Boundary of crown and face with four dark spots: two larger spots in middle and one smaller spot at each side. Face convex in profile, frontoclypeal area and anteclypeus long and slim, lorum usually narrow. Pronotum usually with irregular dark patterns, posterior margin almost straight. Forewing with color of pale yellow to orange, marked with dark patches, AA and AP vein visible or not. Hind wing transparent, slightly smoky, RA vein invisible, submarginal vein (av) developed.

<paragraph id="8B86BA2A7161FFA6FF1CA613FD86203A" blockId="1.[151,1436,151,609]" pageId="1" pageNumber="404">Pygofer with dorsal appendage articulated to pygofer side, not exceeding posterior margin of pygofer lobe, with or without ventral appendage. Pygofer side usually with few microsetae and microtrichia scattered on dorsal and ventral parts in caudal half. Subgenital plate gradually or suddenly curved dorsad near middle, with row of microsetae along outer margin, basal setae longer and forming a group, 2–4 macrosetae of different lengths near middle and several microsetae scattered on apical part. Style with apex foot-like or expanded, preapical lobe enlarged. Connective Y-shaped, with manubrium and central lobe present. Aedeagal shaft usually tubular, with or without processes, gonopore subapical to apical on ventral surface, preatrium developed, about equal to or slightly longer than aedeagal shaft in most species.</paragraph>
