Head with near white labial palp; second palpomere laterally and mesally with a stripe of brownish-grey scales; frons bright silver-white; vertex dark brownish-grey, admixed with some creamy-white; between antenna and ocellus a small, bright silver-white spot; pericephalic scales white; antenna black, posterior side with a pure white longitudinal stripe. Thorax dark brownish-grey, dorsally mottled with short, white, hair-like scales; patagia and mesothorax laterally white; posterior part of tegula as well as lateral scale-tufts of metathorax whitish admixed. Abdomen with anal tuft dark brownish-grey, scarcely mixed with white; tergite 2 anteriorly narrow and tergite 4 posteriorly broad, bordered with white. Legs dark brownish-grey; ventral edge of femur with white, hair-like scales; tibia and each tarsomere distally with a narrow white ring; forecoxa white, medially brownish-grey; medial part of mid- and hindtibia laterally white. Wings dark brownish-grey, more or less densely mottled with white scales; underside somewhat more whitish; fringes pale brownish-grey; transparent areas well developed; apical area absent; discal spot of forewing rather narrow, of hindwing triangular, reaching vein M2.
