. On the new material the length of prostate stylet

II varies between 23 31 µm (= 28, n = 6), with a basal ring of 1523 µm diameter (= 20, n = 6). These measurements differ quite considerably from those given in the original description for the

(50 µm and 30 µm respectively). However, remeasuring of these parts in the
<typeStatus id="54D4886CFFA6FF5BFCFDE23CFCEE0964" box="[771,873,1539,1565]" pageId="5" pageNumber="6" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
revealed a prostate stylet
<typeStatus id="54D4886CFFA6FF5BFB63E23CFB570964" box="[1181,1232,1539,1565]" pageId="5" pageNumber="6">type</typeStatus>
II of only 25 µm long, with a basal ring of 17 µm diameter, corresponding to the measurements on the new material. In the
<typeStatus id="54D4886CFFA6FF5BFF69E26CFE860914" box="[151,257,1619,1645]" pageId="5" pageNumber="6" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
, five spines emerge from this ring. In the new specimens we counted 47 spines, depending on the orientation of the stylet. The prostate stylet

III can appear differently depending on the degree of compression, but mostly its structure as described in the original description (

) is easily recognised. However, because of its complexity, measurements on the prostate stylet

III are difficult to compare and the diameter lies between 25 (

) and 56 µm.

The construction of the female system is rather difficult to assess. Only one of the sectioned specimens from
<collectingCountry id="F378765EFFA6FF5BFF26E37CFEA20824" box="[216,293,1859,1885]" name="Kenya" pageId="5" pageNumber="6">Kenya</collectingCountry>
is in acceptable condition to be studied. The insemination ducts are not visible in this specimen. However, the swollen spermatic ducts (“seminal receptacles” of

) are clearly visible. The female system should be studied on better material; we suppose that the

and Tanzanian populations do not differ from the
<collectingCountry id="F378765EFFA6FF5BFE89E384FE4D08AC" box="[375,458,1979,2005]" name="Somalia" pageId="5" pageNumber="6">Somali</collectingCountry>
population as to construction of the female system.
