Flagellar base suboval, apical style long, cylindrical including hairing, tomentose frontal spots absent, scutum and scutellum reddish brown but scutum blackish anteriorly and along notopleura, pleura predominantly black. ). Scape shiny black, pedicel and thickened basal part of flagellum reddish brown, apical style black. Basal part of flagellum oval, darkened apically. Last flagellomere about 1.4 times as long as rest of antenna. Whitish tomentose stripes along inner eye margins on face slightly narrower than scape, face shining black, with predominantly black erect hairs on middle part and whitish hairs on lateral stripes. Labellum dark brown except for base, apical segment of palpus black. Erect hairs on base of proboscis and postgena white.

Thorax predominantly reddish yellow but with extensive black pattern: scutum intensively and broadly darkened along anterior margin and notopleuron and a dark medial line to transverse suture distinct. Scutellum reddish yellow, outer spines short, reaching only 1/3 length of medial spines. Pleura extensively shining black, only subnotopleural stripe and posterior margins of anepisternum and anepimeron more reddish brown. Wing pattern as in

Pubescence generally short, appressed or semi-erect, golden yellow on scutum and partly black on scutellum, black on abdomen dorsally and predominantly white on pleura and venter. Compared with the description of the

our female shows that especially the pattern of legs may be variable. The examined female has coxae blackish and not yellow and the extent of the reddish yellow part on the fore femur is confined to the apical third and not to the apical half, the mid femur is dark with both ends paler, darkening is not distinct except on the apical third, and only the extreme base of hind femur is yellowish, whereas the

has the dark part confined to the apical fourth.
