Forewings 2.1 times longer than wide, length in male

(mean = 5.0, n= 3). Colour stramineous; in side view margins of vertex and facial carinae orange-red; last three abdominal sternites and sides of pygofer orange-red; fore tibiae light brown, tip of hind tibiae and tarsi dark brown. Forewings not powdered, a large dark brown mark around apex of Cu1; bands of faint infuscations across base of first costal cell and across first and second subcostal sectors; apex of Sc and adjoining veins red; apical margin and most of costal margin orange-red; second and third subcostal sectors and apices of R and M orange to orange red; remaining veins stramineous to light brown. Hindwings with a large brown-black mark around first median sector, connected to a smaller, lighter mark around second median sector; an additional small, separate dark mark at apex of claval vein. Facial carinae contiguous up to lower level of eyes; rostrum short, not reaching hind coxae; subantennal processes and lateral carinae of pronotum poorly developed. Forewings with costal margin slightly -, apical part of Sc strongly sinuate; Sc+R fork well before middle of wing; Ms1 branched before its middle; Ms1b connected to apical part of Cu1 by a cross-vein, a small triangle at base of Ms1. Male genitalia with pygofer bearing pointed, lateral projections; anal segment with a pair of short, lateral processes. Aedeagus thick; ending in two long, pointed (rarely blade-like), slightly sinuate processes; in dorsal view, the right one overlapping the left one (
