). This species was collected in small mammal (agouti or armadillo) burrows, holes at the base of large trees, and from inside and under rotten logs. Six

These whip scorpions appear to tolerate each other when in close proximity and no aggression was observed among individuals of various sizes. The defensive spray of this species smells strongly of acetic acid.
