The individuals collected at Parque Forestal Embalse del Neusa, correlated positively with high values of Aluminum (Al = 5 - 28 cmol / kg) and sodium (Na = 0.02-0.22 cmol / kg) also showed a preference for acid soils (pH <3.5), and temperatures between 9 and 11 C°, the number of individuals observed decreased when the values of pH (> 3.5) and temperature (> 11 C°) increased. The thickness of the litter layer (horizon O) also influenced the number of individuals observed, having preference for the thicker layers typical of tropical high montane forests.
