Cp elongated (length c. twice the height), with greatest height situated slightly in front of the middle. Posterior spine absent from both valves. Anterior margin with an outer list prominent in both valves, giving the front in dorsal and ventral views a lip-like appearance. A2 with natatory setae reaching tips of end claws. CR slender, its attachment with Triebels loop in the main branch.
