. Body brownish, elytra with indication of paler transverse band in basal fourth; legs and antennae brownish, distal antennomeres slightly darker.

Eyes medium-sized, rather convex. Dorsal surface moderately glossy, distinctly punctate and largely corrugated, with indication of smooth, impunctate median strip posteriorly; punctures distinctly separated. Setation short, subdecumbent; few tactile setae. Antennae moderately enlarged in terminal third; antennomere X 1.4 times, XI 2.3 times as long as wide.</paragraph>

<paragraph id="8B863690FFD0481188AAFF59007CFEFD" blockId="33.[151,1437,151,1437]" pageId="33" pageNumber="34">Pronotum 1.4 times as long as wide, moderately narrower than head including eyes, evenly rounded anteriorly, strongly narrowed and distinctly impressed (constricted) postero-laterally in dorsal view; pronotal disc nearly evenly convex in lateral view. Surface glossy; antero-lateral sides minutely and sparsely punctate, nearly impunctate near procoxal cavities; disc more distinctly and densely punctate, especially posteriorly, weakly transversely corrugated and very slightly bulging before smooth antebasal area; postero-lateral impressions longitudinally wrinkled, adjacent dorso-lateral surface rugose. Setation as on head.</paragraph>

Surface glossy, distinctly punctate; punctation double, setiferous punctures rather widely separted. Setation nearly evenly developed, sparser near base, generally longer than on head.</paragraph>
