), scutellum reddish yellow, scutellar spines yellow, arising rather close to apex, outer spines only slightly shorter than inner ones. Thoracic pile short, semi-appressed and yellow. Wing membrane hyaline, only stigma dark brown and also strong veins in basal 2/3 of wing brownish. Halter pale yellow. Legs yellow including coxae but fore tibia more brownish, fore tarsi completely, and last two tarsomeres of mid legs and 3 distal tarsomeres of hind legs blackish.

Abdomen shining black, relatively broad, gradually broadened toward distal third and rounded posteriorly, maximum width three times broader than basal width. Abdominal pile appressed to semi-erect, mostly black, partly whitish basally.

Head spherical in lateral view and about 1.4 times broader than long in dorsal view, postocular area at most as broad as pedicel is long, frons shining black, without pale tomentose spots above antennae, at narrowest point as broad as ocellar triangle. Antenna as in male but last flagellomere shorter, only slightly longer than rest of antenna. Facial stripes along eye margin very narrow, sometimes even indistinct. Thorax black as in male but subnotopleural stripe usually slightly broader and also postalar callus partly yellowish. Scutal pile shorter than in male, scutellar spines more separated. Wing and legs as in male, abdomen more elongate with maximum width at middle, 2.5 times as broad as at base. Abdominal pubescence whitish ventrally. Female terminalia yellow.
