Puparium oblong; margin smooth; submargin demarcated from the dorsal disc by a submarginal furrow, except the anterior and posterior ends. Thoracic and caudal tracheal pores invaginated deeply. Longitudinal moulting suture reaching anterior margin; transverse moulting suture reaching submarginal furrow; cephalothoracic and abdominal segments rhachisform; cephalothoracic and abdominal segment sutures prominent. Submedian area of cephalothorax and abdomen with polygonal imbrications. A row of 12 pairs of submarginal setae present; anterior and posterior marginal setae present. Cephalic and the first abdominal setae absent; eighth abdominal and caudal setae present. Thoracic tracheal furrows absent. Caudal tracheal furrow present. Vasiform orifice quadrangular, slightly elevated posteriorly; operculum subcordate, covering half the length of the orifice; lingula tip exposed, setose. Geminate pores prominent, large, somewhat raised from the dorsal cuticle. Ventral submargin faintly demarcated by a submarginal groove; submedian area may be stipulated; thoracic and caudal tracheal folds present; ventral setae present.
