This tiny blue butterfly was described from
<collectingCountry box="[1286,1527,612,655]" name="South Africa" pageId="7" pageNumber="38">South Africa</collectingCountry>
. Dr. Marshall informs me that it has spread throughout the whole of the Old vVorld tropics, and has also been found in
<collectingCountry box="[905,1089,718,758]" name="Venezuela" pageId="7" pageNumber="38">Venezuela</collectingCountry>
. We found it very abundant in
<collectingCountry box="[1685,1792,718,758]" name="Guam" pageId="7" pageNumber="38">Guam</collectingCountry>
, in gardens and in low roadside weeds. vVe did not discover its larva, so do not know its food plant there.
