<paragraph id="35A6C5E497B857EC65226A8CBD891E72" pageId="0" pageNumber="1">Colonies on PDA growing in the dark reaching 14-15 mm diam. in 14 d at 25 °C, yellowish, white in the margin; fluffy; rounded, margin regular. Reverse brown.</paragraph>

in conidia size and conidiogenous cells. However,
<taxonomicName id="5D46017877EF9FBE930B76BFC25A057F" lsidName="C. obovatus" pageId="0" pageNumber="1" rank="species" species="obovatus">C. obovatus</taxonomicName>
is the only species that produces obovoid conidia in this genus. Furthermore, our ITS and multigene phylogeny shows that three isolates of
<taxonomicName id="BCC4F5908411128526126034C7051FE0" lsidName="C. obovatus" pageId="0" pageNumber="1" rank="species" species="obovatus">C. obovatus</taxonomicName>
formed a single clade separate from other species (Figure 1), which indicates that
<taxonomicName id="84E5CFA3222A67E2FD2FB91FFD78621D" lsidName="C. obovatus" pageId="0" pageNumber="1" rank="species" species="obovatus">C. obovatus</taxonomicName>
is a new species.
