Disc ascending posteriorly, shiny, basal 1/4 shagreened, impunctate; striae and interstriae not impressed, sparsely setose, setae short erect, hairlike, striae seriate, punctures small, shallow; interstrial punctures confused, minute, punctures strongly confused, separated by 35 diameters of a puncture. Declivity occupying 1/3 of elytra, obliquely truncate, face weakly convex, strongly shagreened, dull, densely setose; six striae present, striae weakly impressed, punctures difficult to discern, minute, shallow, shagreened, slightly larger than on disc, striae 2 equidistant between 1 and 3; interstriae weakly convex, interstriae lightly setose, setae long, very fine, erect hair-like; interstriae impunctate, densely covered by confused tubercules, tubercles numerous, small to minute. Posterolateral margin costate, tuberculate, extending laterally to interstriae 7, setose, setae long, fine, erect, hair-like.
