Dorsal surfaces of metasomal segments I–IV bear an inconspicuous longitudinal groove. Metasomal segments III–V smooth (female) or densely and very finely granulated (males). Telson elongated, smooth, with aculear ring slightly indicated in male. Aculeus strongly curved.

). Entire carapace is finely granulated, with a glossy area only between the posterior and median eyes in the female. Carinae absent. Anterior margin of carapace almost straight. Tergites finely granulated, with one median carina more indicated in female. Pectinal tooth count
