Dorsal surfaces of metasomal segments IIV bear an inconspicuous longitudinal groove. Metasomal segments IIIV smooth (female) or densely and very finely granulated (males). Telson elongated, smooth, with aculear ring slightly indicated in male. Aculeus strongly curved.

). Entire carapace is finely granulated, with a glossy area only between the posterior and median eyes in the female. Carinae absent. Anterior margin of carapace almost straight. Tergites finely granulated, with one median carina more indicated in female. Pectinal tooth count
