Form small, elongate. Head moderately prominent; eyes finely granulate; upper lobes narrow, separated by, at least, five times width of one lobe; lower lobes almost as long as genae. Antennal tubercles slightly elevate. Antennae slender, 11 segmented. Scape elongate, slightly dilated towards apex, with sparse hairs on ventral surface; segment 3 subequal to scape; 4 about as long as 3, segments from 5 gradually shortened; 11, 1.5 times as long as 10. Prothorax with parallel sides, with a tubercle at posterior third of each side. Prosternal and mesosternal processes very narrow, about 1/5 as wide as pro- and mesocoxae, respectively. Elytra elongate, parallel-sided, about three times as long as width across humeri; with short setae on entire surface or only at posterior half of lateral margins; without basal tubercle or carinae; apices acuminate, outer angles spinose. Anterior coxae rounded and prominent. Femora elongate, fusiform or subclavate. First segment of posterior tarsus as long as two following together.

. This genus is characterized by the prothorax with lateral tubercles at basal third; pronotum without tubercles; elytra elongate, about three times as long as the humeral width, without longitudinal carinae or median crista near base; with setae on the entire elytral surface or restricted to the posterior half of the external margins; prosternal and mesosternal processes very narrow; and the first segment of metatarsi as long as the two following combined.
