Head black, clypeus blackish, mouth parts and basal four antennomeres more or less light brownish, fifth to tenth antennomeres blackish. Pronotum fulvous with a broad central stripe from anterior margin to posterior one, anterior margin of the stripe broad, anterior two-thirds of the stripe with nearly equal width, then widened. Scutellum black, sometimes with orange apex. Elytra fulvous, each elytron with three transverse bands: one broad, covering humerus, but not reaching suture; second situated at one-third, touching suture; third at two-thirds, narrower than the second one; also with a broad stripe from base to apex laterally, which generally connected with the three transverse bands. Underside of body black, propleura fulvous; coxae and trochanters of all legs black, other parts of legs brownish, outer margin of tibiae blackish.</paragraph>

Frons narrow, 1.4 times as wide as the diameter of the eye (about half of maximal width of the head) in male; surface irregularly punctured; and three impressions placed triangularly: one deep and round, the others shallower and long; clypeus with sparse punctures, anterior margin feebly incised. Labrum slightly incised at anterior margin, with pubescence; mandibles short. Antennae extending to base of pronotum, all antennomeres except third thickly pubescent; first antennomere oblong, second rounded, third round and very small, fourth triangular, fifth to tenth feebly serrate, last one suboval; length ratio of antennomeres 1.2: 0.5: 0.4: 0.6: 0.8: 0.9: 0.8: 0.8: 0.9: 0.8: 1.1.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BAA6179DF00FFFE1ED789F82EB0FD64" blockId="7.[143,1104,167,956]" pageId="7" pageNumber="1412">Pronotum transverse, 1.9 times as wide as long, widest at two-thirds, feebly convex, slightly depressed near posterior angles; lateral margins narrowly bordered; anterior angles obtusely angular, posterior ones rounded; anterior margin nearly straight, sides rounded, posterior margin feebly lobed in the middle, the lobe nearly straight; surface of pronotum very finely punctured, basal middle with larger punctures. Scutellum triangular, very finely punctured, with a narrow and truncated apex.</paragraph>

Epipleura about one-third of elytral length. Pygidium partly free, apex narrowly rounded.</paragraph>
