can be identified by a combination of the typical color pattern, the valve longer than wide, male pygofer distinctly constricted in dorsal view with constriction forming a wide base and constricted apical part, aedeagus without apical flagellar process, the subgenital plates relatively broad and broadly rounded at apex, the connective-aedeagus without symmetrical pair of processes fused near aedeagal base and with an asymmetrical unpaired process extending dorsad of aedeagal shaft, and the style apophysis long, as a long as basal part (base to preapical lobe).

Pygofer somewhat elongate, distinctly constricted in dorsal view with constriction forming a wide base and constricted apical part; basal part (anterad of constriction) with numerous long macrosetae posteriorly; apical part (posteriad of constriction) with numerous short dorsally directed setae across middle, with numerous long macrosetae along ventral margin and at apex directed caudally. Valve large, median length longer than width. Subgenital plates relatively wide, lobelike; apices rounded; without distinct row of large macrosetae, with only several fine setae laterally on apical 1/3. Style preapical lobe knoblike; apophysis long, nearly as long as basal part, with apices slightly bent mesad. Connective-aedeagus with unpaired lanceolate process extending dorsad of aedeagal shaft, surpassing apex of aedeagus, without symmetrical pair of processes fused near aedeagal base. Aedeagus tubular, slightly bent dorsad. Phragma bulbous lobes small, lobelike; sclerotized; with several short setae. Segment X membranous.
