Head-body 91-114 mm, tail 53-72 mm, ear 8-11 mm, hindfoot 15-5-18-5 mm; weight 13-22 g. Foxs White-toothed Shrew is large. Dorsum is chocolate-brown to russet-brown; individual hairs are gray basally and have brown tips. Ventral pelageis gray, with gray-based and white-tipped hairs. Flanks, chest, and throat are gray. Tail is 50-63% of head-body length, pale, and coarsely haired. Skull has flatter braincase than in Frasers White-toothed Shrew (
