Head-body 72-75 mm,tail 53-54 mm, hindfoot 12:5-14 mm. No specific data are available for body weight. The Pale Gray White-toothed Shrew averages larger in size than Zarudnys White-toothed Shrew. Upperparts are pale gray and underparts creamy white. Feet and tail are whitish,tail with a dusky area on dorsal surface at tip. Both the Pale Gray White-toothed Shrew and Zarudnys White-toothed Shrew have similar, very short, velvety fur, but the belly of the Pale Gray is creamier than in Zarudnys. Skull is similar to that of the Kashmir White-toothed Shrew (
