. All newly examined specimens were collected at a single large patch of herbaceous plants with large leaves in a swampy area of the forest. During several hours of collecting, no further specimens were found in other parts of the forest. At least some males were apparently without any web, but most specimens had sheets of fine silk directly attached to leaf surface (visible only from the side and against the light).
