). But in beetles of this species, the pronotal transverse wrinkles are continuous across the pronotum, continued from the parasagittal impressions to the marginal bead, and the elytral strial punctures are larger and more circular causing greater lateral expansion of the striae (Fig.

Mesepisternum impunctate; metepisternal dorsal length subequal to diagonal width; metasternum with broad, shallow median depression at base of metasternal process.
